Bachelor’s degree of Radio-Television-Cinema at Marmara University in Istanbul. Produced short news for TV channels in the Visual Works Agency during the university period.
First documentary film with Mustafa Varlık, called “The Last Hands” in 1998.
Working on her projects as a director and assisting for Mr. Enis Riza as co-director in VTR Film Directing Research & Production Company, one of the oldest documentary film companies in Turkey.
Board member of Association of Documentary Filmmakers in Turkey (ADF). Actively involved in the events organized by ADF since it has been founded in 1997. Organized various documentary film screenings /festivals/workshops/ meetings on different subjects in ADF and attended various international documentary events. Responsible for the documentary film archive of ADF.
Actively and voluntarily involved in social projects by making films held by VTR Film Directing Research and Production Company such as Local Agenda 21 Program by United Nations Developing Program in Turkey, Youth For Habitat International Network /LA 21 National Youth Council, Women Festivals, The Foundation of Our Future (children), The Association for Quality in Turkey,
Participated Meda Films Development in Marrakech in 2006, as the director of documentary film called “A Bridge at the Edge of The World” with Selda Salman the producer. “A Bridge at the Edge of The World” was only documentary project selected for the workshop. The film received Special Jury Award in The 19th International Ankara Film Festival 2007 and The 2nd International Silk Road Film Festival (Bursa) 2007. And the film was selected The Best Documentary of 2008 by SİYAD (Turkish Cinema Writers Cinema Awards in 2009).
