Born in Demre in 1963, İmren took a degree in Tourism Management in Akdeniz University. In 1991, she commenced her study of painting at the Kaleiçi Sanatevi – Muhittin Selamet Studio, and has continued her work in an independent capacity since 1996, working from her own studio since 2001. She has studied the art collections in various museums in London, Venice, Florence, Milan, Paris,Berlin,St. Petersburg, Skopje,Nürnberg, Cologne, Vienna, Berlin,Atlanta and New York. She has exhibited her works in Turkey, Europe and USA. She has six solo exhibition and many group exhibitions. She made a short film and two videos. The title of short film is “ on the move” and her videos “walking on the sea” ,”innocent drawings” She participated in the Artist Colony in Germany and Macedonia. She is a member of International Association of Art and ANSAN. Her writings and interviews have been published in various literary magazines.
