In 2004 I initiated my Bachelor of Arts in Danish Literature at Aalborg University. I discovered that my main interests are focused on post-structuralist semiotics and cultural studies in general. Therefore I spend the last year of my BA working within this range of studies, which among others resulted in the following projects: My Hyperspace (An analysis of identity construction on the website MySpace), Surveillance (An analysis of the Danish TV series Ørnen with focus on the representation of technology and globalization myths). Having finished my BA, I decided to get a Masters degree in Culture and Media Production at Malmö University in order for me to specialize further in cultural studies and obtain practical production skills.
