The aim of the programme is to place a diverse programme of leading Scottish performance firmly in the festival spotlight. Companies and artists are now invited to apply to present artistically ambitious work at Made in Scotland 2011.

A joint initiative between Creative Scotland, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Federation of Scottish Theatre, the 2011 programme will be selected by an industry panel. As well as financial support, the selected companies and artists will have access to training and advice to prepare for presenting their work at the Fringe.

As part of Made in Scotland, investment is also available to support international touring opportunities arising from Fringe performances.

Made in Scotland is supported through the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo fund.

The deadline for 2011 Made in Scotland applications is 22 November 2010.
