Every two years, Kuenstlerhaus Lukas assigns up to 135 scholarships for work and study at different locations: at Kuenstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop, at other places in Germany and in Baltic littoral states where exchange partners are situated.

Künstlerhaus Lukas invites artists working in the range of fine arts (painting, sculpture, graphic arts, photography, artistic book, video, arts and crafts/design), literature (narrative literature, lyrics, drama, screenplay, essay, literary translations), dance (choreography, perfor- mance) and music (composition) again to apply for a residence scholarship.

The value of each scholarship in the Künstlerhaus Lukas is at least 500 € up to 1000 € per month. In this amount the costs for travelling are included. Your apartment is free. At September 2010 an independent jury will to notify her decision. Availability is subject to the annual amount of sponsoring. Artists from abroad have the possibility to get contributions to their costs for travelling from their own ministries.

The scholarship application period for the following two years (2011 and 2012) is open from 17 May to 30 July 2010.
