This workshop opens an insight to music from a perspective of a dancer.

Through theoretical and practical comparison of the parameters and elements of music with measurable characteristics of dance, participants learn to understand what music and dance share and what separates them, learn to physically translate music into dance and to create a dialogue between music and dance. Through observation, structured improvisation, talk and lecture it develops the dancer‘s musicality.

The workshop leader is Ivan Mijacevic/SLO who works in the fields of music and dance.

Deadline for registrations: August 2, 2010.

Workshop fee: CHF 300.00.
