Danse Elargie

To open doors to today’s and tomorrow’s artistic creation is the goal of Danse Élargie, a project born through a partnership between Musée de la danse/Centre chorégraphique national de Rennes et de Bretagne and Théâtre de la Ville in Paris.
Danse Élargie is open to any kind of dance, understood in its broadest definition, to artists from all generations or nationalities, regardless of their original art form (visual arts, theatre, dance, music, etc…).
Théâtre de la Ville will open its doors on June 26 and 27. These two presentation days will be open to the public with free access within the limit of available seats.
How to participate and register?
Two rules only to observe:
* a maximum duration of 10 minutes of representation
* a minimum of three performers present on stage
A first selection will be done on applications and video, giving priority to new projects. Applications must be sent before April 19, 2010.
Saturday, June 26, all the selected works will be presented on the main stage of Théâtre de la Ville. Sunday, June 27, the finalists selected by an international jury consisting of a dozen artistic personalities will perform again.
Three awards will be presented:
1st | 2nd | 3rd prize: € 10000 | 7000 | 4500
