As known, the date of May 19th is celebrated and called as the Youth Festival every year in our country.

For this reason, Fomged is going to organize “The International Ankara Youth Festival” during the dates of 13th - 20th May, 2010 in Ankara to celebrate the Youth Festival on the international stage, to consolidate the amity, friendship and peace among the World Youth.

Youth Groups, aged between 15 – 26 from all over the world and our country, who are interested in social, cultural, artistic and sports activities, will be invited to this festival in which 80 different countries are expected to participate.

Youth Groups, who are willing to participate in this festival, may apply in two different categories:

CATEGORY A: Folk Dances, Modern Dances, Music, Band and Harmonica Groups
CATEGORY B: Groups of Traditional Street Performance and Social, Cultural, Sports Groups
(Painting, Felt, Tile, Ceramics, Glass Blowing, Vein, Carpet Textile, Sculpture, Wood Carving, Photograpy, Dart, Bocce, Chess, Table Tennis, Juggling, Magics, Acrobatics, Street Musicians, Pandomime, Caricature, Graffity, Traditional Food Cooking, Traditional Hand Crafts...)

The participating groups’ full board accomodations in minimum at 3 star hotels and local transportations in the festival programme will be provided free of charge during the festival week in Ankara by the Organization Committee.

Groups that want to participate in our festival from your country, have to check participation conditions, fill in the application form and send it back to Fomged.
