Painting Print and Drawing Exhibition

People can learn about themselves and about the world in general through the things they make.
Connecting hand and mind by recognising and encouraging the technical mastery (craftsmanship), we will focus our attention on the artist’s knowledge of making art, respecting the skills, the action of body and mind working together in search for the achievement of a certain result.
For the first edition of the BERLIN PROJECT we invite worldwide artists to apply with their recent painting, print and drawing works.
The aim of this exhibition is selecting artists who dedicate their time to create original works who distinguish themselves through technical quality, innovation and sensibility toward the detail.
The exhibition will present up to 10 artists. The theme is free.

Eligibility: Worldwide Artists.

Venue: The exhibition will be held at our Project Space in Berlin, Friedrichstrasse.

Jury: The applications will be selected by a group of professional artists and curators.

Artwork:
- We accept recent Artworks made with the Painting, Print and Drawing techniques.
- In the Exhibition, we will display up to max 5 works for each selected artist.
- The max. Size of the Artworks is 150X150 cm.
- The works should be available for exhibition and sale during the exhibition dates: September 30 – October 30, 2011.
- If the work will be sold we will reserve 20 % from the total price of the work. During the exhibition time the presented Artworks will be insured by us.
- The delivery of the works is on the responsibility of the artist and also the return of the works at the end of the exhibition.

Promotion: For the exhibition occasion we will curate and publish a brochure with the selected works and the artists statement.

- Application Form
- Artist Statement (250 word max.)
- Artist CV (2 page max.)
- Up to 5 images with description: title, medium, dimension, year.
