Babil specializes in documentary cinema with an emphasis on recording personal testimonies. In addition to these documentaries Babil also works with other aspects of cinema and media. It hopes to create visual forms for various societies to understand and express themselves in both the national and international milieu.Babil’s work includes: doing research, making films, and realizing society’s artistry. It also includes presenting the archives to libraries and cultural centers. Babil works in both national and international speheres to produce films, television programs, prepare festivals, theatrical plays, musical events, and other performances. It also arranges the workshops, conferences, exhibitions, installations and the campaigns that advertise these events. Babil collects the information, visual documents and classifies them; records the sounds and images and arranges them for the archives
