as gnu is not unix, no element of design as the imagined act can be adjudicated by means of its production, but by its outcome. as the means of production remain free, so are the materials and software chosen freely depending on the needs and wishes of the designer.

now that you can use gpl-licensed design software, why paying resources to industry leaders? ever found yourselves stuck in a program, e.g. having to repeat a certain command on a multitude of objects one by one? or ever thought of a feature you'd love to have on your favourite software? it's time for you to try free software, developed by hundreds of thousands of fellow designers for your needs and imaginations!
