HAKAN AKÇURA / OPEN FLUX WORKSHOP

Hakan Akçura who lived in Sweden for the last five years introduces himself as follows: “ I am an open flux artist. The following attributes that are the target of my creations are the things, I believe, all the contemporary artists who can't refrain from creating with concern and responsibility should have.
To witness “the essence of time” (zeitgeist) once again, that is to be more adverse and radical on this earth that is going down the drains, to heed the sharing and wide circulation of their creations instead of their ownership problems, to be independent. To be an artist who shows the way, opens minds, and redefines new problems, along with being an artist who also can be open to all kinds of interaction and communication, and being a playmaker when necessary. To try to create, and furthermore, to protect the existence of courage, originality, and composition, without falling into the swamp of elitism and populism.” The workshop will entail the presentation by the artist who is trying to use the tools of the new media in his every work and also his talk with the participants.

HAKAN AKÇURA / OPEN FLUX ATÖLYE ÇALIŞMASI

Son beş yıldır İsveç'te yaşayan Hakan Akçura kendini şu cümlelerle tanıtıyor: "Ben bir open flux sanatçısıyım. Kaygı ve sorumlulukla yaratmaktan geri duramayan günümüz sanatçılarının sahip olmaları gerektiğine inandığım şu nitelikler, benim yaratımımın da hedefidir: 'Zamanın ruhu'na (zeitgeist) bir kez daha tanıklık etmek yani giderek daha boka batan bu yerkürede daha muhalif ve radikal olmak. Yaratımlarının mülkiyet sorunlarından daha çok, yaygın dolaşım ve paylaşımını önemsemek. Bağımsız olmak. Yol gösterici, zihin açıcı, sorunlara yeni tanımlar önerebilen bir sanatçı olmanın yanı sıra, her türlü etkileşim ve iletişime açık, gerektikçe oyun kurucu olmayı becerebilen bir sanatçı da olabilmek. Elitizm batağına da, popülizme de düşmeyen bir cesareti, özgünlüğü ve niteliği var etmeye, ötesi hep korumaya çalışmak." Atölye, yeni medyanın olanaklarını hemen her yaratımında kullanmaya çalışan sanatçının toplu sunumunu ve katılımcılarla sohbetini içerecek.
