Source www.visualvoltageworkshop.deThe exhibition, Visual Voltage, takes place at Felleshuset of the Nordic Embassies in Berlin.
Interactive exhibits show strategies to consume energy with different senses. The idea for the exhibits is that through design we can turn an invisible activity of energy consumption into a process that can be experienced, thereby potentially altering awareness and leading to a change in behaviour.
We would like to invite you to a one-and-a-half day workshop, running in parrallel to the exhibition, from the 22. to the 23. january.
The workshop addresses professional designers, where the goal is to discuss, share and invent design strategies for raising awareness about energy-efficiency, without imposing the “gloomy feeling of guilt” (Régine Debatty); and for changing our consuming behaviour without making us feel like energy-saving martyrs.
Information can be located on the website: www.visualvoltageworkshop.de and on the attached invitation. For any further questions please contact Katrin Lütkemöller info@visualvoltageworkshop.de .
Places are limited, therefore we would ask you to apply soon with a personal statement for participation. There is no workshop fee.
Best regards,
the Visual Voltage Workshop Team
