Photography Exhibition of Ali Arif Ersen is on view at Milli Reasürans Art Gallery between December 22, 2009- January 8, 2010.

Ali Arif Ersen was born in Istanbul in 1958. Though he completed his education at the Painting Department of the Fine Arts Academy, he later chose photography as his medium for his art work. In 2001 he published a book on the impressions he had of USA, titling ‘Photography USA’. In 2002, as part of the ‘İzdüşümler/Düş İzleri’ series of Yapı Kredi Publishing, he was given the work to illustrate Tomris Uyar’s narration book named ‘Güzel Yazı Defteri’. He continued with his city impressions of Latin America and published the books ‘Fotografi Havana’ and ‘Fotografi Buenos Aires’. He made three photography exhibitions in Milli Reasürans Art Gallery which were named ‘Très Americas’, ‘Sarajevo’ and ‘Tales’.
