Kino Total is a three-week series of film nights that presents the varied cinematic inspiration of figures in Berlin's art scene. Artists, gallerists and curators were invited to choose a film piece that has inspired, influenced or guided their creative careers, and each will present their pick at special screenings at the Bourouina Gallery.

Fortified with hot popcorn and cool beer, inspiration-seekers can take in the wealth of visual influences, ranging from David Lynch's Blue Velvet to splatter cartoons to the bosomy work of "King of the Nudies" Russ Meyer.

“KinoTotal” presents the selected movies in a private screening room in a daily changing program. Furthermore, three times a week, evening sceenings will be presented by guests, giving an introduction and talk about their relations to the chosen cinematic work.
