As Foucault so amusingly demonstrates, the effacement of bonds and the celebration near the center of Magritte’s art. Ultimately, thus, This is not a pipe both escapes from and yet returns to its “subject” by a willful self-liberation from anything upon which it might be obliged slavishly to “comment”. * Considering this exhibition as an artwork, the conflict with its title refers the similar attitude.
Also, the project experiments with methods of exhibition and reaching the audience. Choosing the Internet as a space is not coincidence; by this way “Plastic Values” aims to create an international interactive dialogue by removing any kind of obstacles.

Foucault’un eğlendirici bir biçimde kanıtladığı gibi, bağıntıların ortadan kaldırılması ve farkların yüceltilmesi, Magritte’in sanatının merkezine yaklaşan bir tutumdur. Böylece Magritte Bu Bir Pipo Değildir üzerinde kölece açıklamalar yapmak zorunda kalabileceği herhangi birşeyden kendini bilerek sıyırarak, “konusundan” hem kaçmakta hem de ona dönmektedir.* Bu serginin kendisini bir yapıt olarak düşünürsek taşıdığı başlık ile girdiği mücadele benzer tutumu referans alır.
Aynı zamanda bu proje; sanatın sergilenme ve izleyiciye ulaşma yöntemleri üzerine bir deney gerçekleştirir. Mekan olarak internetin seçilmesi tesadüfi değildir, bu şekilde “Plastik Değerler” her türlü engeli kaldırarak uluslararası interaktif bir diyalog oluşmasını hedefler.
