Motivation: To meet other initiatives and to manage to produce ideas about common action platforms for independent production.

When:10.2008

Where: Personal studio in Beşiktaş.

What: Reccollective is an organisation where artists who produce works in photography and film come together.

Who: Our first activity is to make the book of a work by Sevim Sancaktar. To conceive and plan the artwork as an artist book is a consistent and independent way of sharing the work.

Why: To manage to find out and produce our own space and means for sharing. This process which starts as an artist book will continue through exhibition and workshop organisation.

Ambition: Would be a more equal place.
