Motivation: To make new contacts, spread the word about the artist-run scene in Sweden

When: 2004

Where: In an old industrial building in Eskilstuna, a city 100 km west of Stockholm

What: Formverk is a non-profit, artist run exhibition place, an area for cultural events and a project room, established 2004. The purpose is to show national and international contemporary art and to realize artistic exchange and cooperation. Formverk allows experimentation in collaboration with artists and public.

Who: As an association, with a lot of unpayed work

Why: Our purpose is to realize ideas, develop dialogues and having fun!

Context: Not an alternativ! We are independent and can cooperate with different actors, like our citys art museum.

Ambition: Then everything would be more arty!
