Motivation: We would like to sing the European Union Anthem in different languages with other artists in Istanbul. We have 1 video and 1 documentary related to rethinking / resinging Europe.

When: 2005

Where: Public places of Vilnus, London, Warsaw etc.

What: Is to disturb, to question, to react to gender issues in public spaces and the art world. To challenge patriarchal, nationalist and racial prejudices.

Who: Coolturistes works like partisan group creating alternatives for dominant institutional
(mostly patriarchal) events. We film, write, appear at the events changing the structure of exhibitions with our own bodies / embodied ideas.

Why: We are doing this because female voice, body and identity is still underrepresented ("postfeminism" is a way to kill feminism with the "post").

Context: To big one-genius shows and institutionalized power games

Ambition: It would become "L world":) Seriously, it would be more open for alternative practices.
